Memphis Fence Company Inc., has continued to grow over the last 39 years. Starting out, two brothers Webb Turbeville and Mann Turbeville, made a decision to sell high Quality products and offer a level of service which would raise the bar for other fence contractors.
Memphis Fence Company Inc., is now in the second generation of ownership. Following the example of of his father Webb, Daniel Turbeville continues to emphasize “Our quality products and the award winning service we offer obviously sets our company apart from the competition”.
Service is our Business, and a time honored tradition at Memphis Fence Company Inc. Pride, professional performance, and old-fashion-values make Memphis Fence Company Inc., an exceptional choice for any project, Commercial or Residential.
Two brothers, Webster V Turbeville and Mann Turbeville, started Memphis Fence Company in 1971. Mann Turbeville, a Memphis City Firefighter, worked on his days off with the city building fences with the crews while "Webb" Turbeville handled the selling and the business aspect of the company.
As the company grew, Mann left his job with the city and began working in the company with Webb on a full-time basis. The first major project Memphis Fence Company completed was the full enclosure of the Memphis International Airport..a project that others in the Memphis market said couldn't be completed in the designated timeframe. The project went according to schedule, and then Memphis Fence Company was a true competitor in the Memphis market.
Since the early 70's, Memphis Fence Company grew at a constant pace allowing its roots to grow into a strong foundation in the Memphis market as well as the surrounding Tri-State area. In 1982 Mann made a decision to go on to other areas of interest and Webb bought out Mann's half of the company.
In 1982, Memphis Fence Company Inc. started its first subsidiary, Memphis Fence Supply Company, Inc. This company made its primary objective of being a wholesale fence distributor.
Over the following years Webster V Turbeville was instrumental in the formation of the following companies:
- Memphis Fence Company, Inc. - Memphis Fence Supply Company, Inc.
