Maeng Da was specifically created in Indonesia’s humidity and heat as a high-powered red kratom strain. Maeng Da mixes pain relief and energy into one, similar to Bali Kratom. However, this strain was made to provide a bigger kick in energy than Bali to beat the heat in Indonesia.

Because it is specifically bred for alkaloid properties, Maeng Da takes a red strain’s normal pain-relieving properties and adds a nice energetic kick that some reds do not have.

Maeng Da Kratom was created using a technique called grafting, where tissues from different plants are joined together to create a new strain for each plant’s different qualities. Maeng Da was born in an effort to produce a strain that preserves pain relief while at the same time minimizing sedative effects in order to be used during Indonesian work.
