OUR VISION: A Christ Centered Community Growing in Faith.
OUR PURPOSE: The purpose of Faith Anglican Church is to proclaim the Good News, make disciples, and serve our neighbors.
The Youth Crew, the Faith Anglican youth group, meets every Sunday from 5-7 p.m., and every Wednesday from 7-8 p.m. for bible study. The youth also meet for a Sunday school class at 9:30 a.m. We are based on a play hard pray harder basis and we love newcomers. The Answer Is Jesus.
Music is an important part of the worship at Faith Anglican Church. In December, the worship choir and drama teams presented "The Gospel".
Thanksgiving Eve...Wednesday, November 24th at 7:00pm, we will celebrate the true meaning of our national holiday. Give thanks to Him, to whom all thanks is due. We will celebrate Holy Com- munion and offer special prayers and testimonies of thanksgiving. Childcare is available. Bring your visiting family with you.
Called to the Quiet...A Retreat for Prayer and Meditation. On Saturday, December 4th from 9:00 to Noon, you are encouraged to join us. We will begin with Morning Prayer, have a time of directed prayer, meditation, and reflection, and conclude with Noon Day Prayers. Bring your Bible and something to write on.
St. Nicholas...will visit our children at a party on December 5th in his honor from 5 to 7:00 in the children's ministry Center. Children of all ages are welcome to come and hear the story of how young Nicholas became a Christian and a Saint. Please bring a small unwrapped gift that will be donated to children in need. Invite your friends and grandchildren for unique photo opportunities.
I am pleased to welcome you to Faith Anglican Church. It is my firm belief that all of us long for and need a living relationship with God. As Blaise Pascal once said, "Inside of every one of us is a God shaped void." Only God can fill that void. Our worship, programs and activities are designed to allow God to fill that void.
Worship is designed to draw us into God's presence. Our monthly small group meetings (Celebration Teams) are designed to help us build relationships with other caring Christians. Sunday School is designed to help us grow in our knowledge and experience of God. Our youth and children's programs are also designed to draw them closer to God, but on their level. Our relationship grows when we truly hear God's word. As Saint Paul said, "So faith comes from what is heard, and what is heard comes through the word of Christ" (Romans 10:17).
Therefore, I strive to teach and preach only that which comes from and agrees with God's Holy Word. If you desire to give God room in your life, you have come to the right place. I invite you to join us as we strive to make Jesus Lord in our lives and in this church.
