At Pediatric Therapies we are committed not only to helping your child realize his/her extraordinary possibilities, but to focusing on the needs of your family as well. We know that working with your child means working with your family and reaching out to others involved in your childs daily life. This comprehensive therapeutic programming is critical to your childs success.
The therapists at Pediatric Therapies are committed to personal and professional excellence and innovative treatment approaches. This experienced team works together and creatively motivates children to reach their highest potential. At Pediatric Therapies we understand that each child is unique, requiring a level of clinical reasoning that is particular to their individual needs.
Services and Programs
Pediatric Therapies provides evaluations, consultations, individual and group therapies, monthly parent/caregiver education series, and seminars to preschools, schools, parent and community groups. Other special programs include music lessons for children with special needs, yoga for children with special needs, massage for fussy babies, listening therapies, feeding groups, group therapy and summer buddy clubs.
Our Clinic Space
Our 7000 sq. ft. clinic includes 2 large gyms, multiple individual therapy rooms, and state of the art equipment. Most of our families participate directly in their childs therapy session as the team approach is critical to our philosophy, though observation areas are also available.
Susan Masie, an occupational therapist, opened Pediatric Therapies in August of 2005 realizing there was a need for an easily accessible, comprehensive therapy clinic for children with special needs and their families in the Middle TN area. Space, equipment and experience were critical components resulting in one of the largest and most impressive pediatric clinics serving children with autism, sensory processing disorders, neurologic and orthopedic disabilities, speech and language disorders, and other developmental disabilities.
Sensory Connections is back! We have resumed this important parent/caregiver education series and will be meeting once every quarter. We recently presented on feeding difficulties and strategies to conquer them. Please let us know of topics you would be interested in learning more about.
