First Insurance Group is a general independent insurance agency with a broad range of Commercial, Personal, Life, and Health products. Weve aligned ourselves with some of the finest carriers to deliver these products to you.

First Insurance was established in 1991 by the merger of Dodson-Davis-McClintock Agency and Major-Shipp Agency. The Brown Agency was added in 1993. The current owners are Jeff Brown, Bill Dodson and John Major.
