Phillips & Ingrum, An Association of Attorneys

The firm was founded in Gallatin, Sumner County, Tennessee in 1978 by John R. Phillips, Jr., who is certified as a Civil Trial Specialist by the National Board of Trial Advocacy and by the Tennessee Commission on Continuing Legal Education and Specialization. In 1979, Robert “Bob” G. Ingrum joined the firm after serving approximately three years as Assistant District Attorney General for the 9th Judicial District of Tennessee. John and Bob attended law school together at the University of Tennessee College of Law. Phillips & Ingrum moved to their current location on the square in downtown Gallatin in 1981.
In 2000, Bob’s son, C. Jay Ingrum, joined the firm as an associate attorney. In 2008, Brandon R. Meredith joined the firm as an associate attorney.
Phillips & Ingrum is an established law firm that has been doing business for thirty years.
