H2Ocean Pro+ Natural Salt Mix We are proud to announce that we are the first store in the middle Tennessee area stocking D-D's new "H2Ocean Pro+" natural salt mix for reef and fish aquariums.
This new premium salt is manufactured by a solar evaporative process which produces a totally natural base salt where all of the main and trace elements are in complete balance as nature intended.

The pure natural salt is especially enhanced for reef use by elevating specific elements that, over time, become depleted, such as calcium and magnesium. These minerals are utilized, when needed, by corals and coralline algae for growth, whereas chloride levels are slightly lowered to allow post addition of calcium and magnesium chloride with a minimized affect on the chloride balance.

H2Ocean Pro+ should only be mixed with reverse osmosis, deionized or soft water with a calcium level lower than 30ppm. H2Ocean Pro+ is already enhanced to 440ppm of calcium. Mixing with hard water will cause the calcium to precipitate out of solution rendering it unavailable to your corals.
