Ridings & Elliott, P.C. (RLG) is a professional corporation engaged in the general practice of law, and was founded by David G. Ridings in 1998. Although we evaluate all cases as a firm, and each have input in the formation and maintenance of the prosecution or defense of all cases, we each have our varying strengths.
Mr. Ridings, President and Founder of RLG has focused on Criminal and Business Law, as well as extensive work and research in Identity Theft Recovery and Tennessee Credit Law. He is an entrepreneur himself and has helped many start-up companies achieve success and/or raise capital to do so.
Jason B. Elliott is Executive Vice President of the firm, and joined us this year to expand our Criminal Law Practice, as well as other general practice areas of law. Mr. Elliott is a Rule 31 Mediator for Family Law cases, and also focuses on Wills and other Probate matters, giving our clients a very wide range of choices and practice areas.
Our Strength is in our EXPERIENCE
At RLG, our greatest strength is our past experience. Mr. Ridings founded the office in 1998. Both, Mr. Ridings and Mr. Elliott are former police officers and have over 16 years of combined law enforcement experience, making our criminal and domestic law cases very interesting at times.
If you are faced with a recent arrest or a pending criminal law case, and dont know exactly what to do, ask yourself this: Who better to advise you and to handle your case than attorneys who have more than 15 years of combined legal experience fighting for the rights of their clients, and who also have over 16 years working the streets of middle Tennessee and knowing exactly how the police officer thinks?
At RLG we have also represented a good number of police officers in various family, employment, and business law matters, as well as certain members of the Fraternal Order of Police (FOP), the Southern States Police Benevolent Association (SSPBA), and other law enforcement organizations. Furthermore, Mr. Ridings continues to act as General Counsel for the Tennessee Highway Patrol Retired Officers Association (THPROA). At RLG, we believe it is important to maintain good working relationships with former and current friends in the law enforcement field.
RLG prides itself on its previous experience and important relationships as well as its current and former associations in the law enforcement community. We have found that it gives us a strategic advantage in many cases.
In the end, we take great pride in our professional reputation. We represent our clients as we would our own family. The reputation of our firm is that important to us.
