Gary M. Kirk, Attorney At Law, began his solo practice, GMK ESQ, in Knoxville, Tennessee, in April 1981.

The practice has included a wide variety of cases over time. It has always dealt with domestic relations to some degree and since about 1985 domestic relations cases have accounted for about half the cases handled each year.

Since the change in the bankruptcy laws in October 2005 domestic relations cases have comprised the overwhelming majority of the cases handled by GMK ESQ.
