Companion Animal Hospital was built in 1991 on the homestead site of the Baum family. The land had been used in the earlier part of the twentieth century as farmland and for the operation of a family floral business. At this time it is an ideal situation since it is located close to primary routes of travel (Interstate 640, Broadway Avenue and Tazewell Pike), while at the same time maintaining a quiet, traffic-free, woodsy, atmosphere.
