Knoxville Attorneys and Counselors at Law
Burroughs Collins & Newcomb, PLC was founded on January 16, 2003. The firm was built to provide legal services to businesses, entrepreneurs, established individuals, employers, third party administrators and insurance carriers. The firm is currently comprised of eight experienced Knoxville lawyers who provide planning, compliance and trial work for their clients in the areas of:
Burroughs Collins & Newcomb, PLC is located in the heart of the legal district of Knoxville, Tennessee which is the geographic and legal center of the eastern portion of the state and is the county seat of Knox County. The East Tennessee offices of the Tennessee Courts of Appeal and Supreme Court are located in Knoxville as is the United States Federal District Court for the Eastern District of Tennessee. Our lawyers routinely practice in a geographic area bounded by the eastern border of Tennessee, west to Cookeville, along the Kentucky border, to the Tri-Cities (Bristol, Kingsport and Johnson City) and south to Chattanooga. The firm’s attorneys also travel all across the State of Tennessee and into other states to provide requested services of the firm’s clients. The firm maintains an office in Sevierville, Tennessee and has plans for further expansion to better serve its clients.
Burroughs Collins & Newcomb, PLC provides continuity of service to its clients. We do not shuffle legal assignments among our attorneys. The same attorneys, along with their skilled paralegal and legal assistant team, provide professional legal services for specific clients. Clients have access to multiple contacts within the firm to facilitate communication. Our services are of value to the client when we perform the work on the client’s timetable. To that end, the firm employs all available communications technologies including direct dial access to attorneys, voice mail, cell phones, facsimile and e-mail capabilities. Our philosophy emphasizes client service with a prompt response to client inquiries. We understand answering the question of the client the same day asked helps the client, a day later helps the client less, and a week later perhaps helps the client not at all.
