The Chattanooga Heart Institute is this region’s only diagnostic, treatment, research and rehabilitation center dedicated solely to cardiovascular care. Our 23 board-certified cardiologists ensure that there is an entire team of highly-skilled specialists to provide patients with care in their particular area of expertise. Our specialties include interventional cardiac catheterization, the treatment of peripheral-vascular disease, electrophysiological treatment of arrhythmia, and non-invasive nuclear diagnostics.

Memorial Health Care System and The Chattanooga Heart Institute will integrate services to create the region’s premier provider of cardiology services. This alignment culminates a 30-year relationship between the two organizations and will lead to enhanced collaboration and exceptional patient care.
Patients will continue to call The Chattanooga Heart Institute at (423) 697-2000 and see their physicians at their current location. Patients will continue to receive services such as lipid and Coumadin management, pacer checks, and labs at The Chattanooga Heart Institute.

dedicated solely to cardiovascular care for the past 33 years. “At this transformational time in the history of health care, integrating our services with the Memorial Health Care System will provide our patients access to a network of physicians and health care leaders focused on delivering exceptional care to our patients,” said Paul Farmer, CEO, The Chattanooga Heart Institute.
Following the integration, The Chattanooga Heart Institute physicians and staff will continue to provide services at all current hospital and clinic locations – Memorial Glenwood, Memorial North Park, Erlanger Medical Center and Skyridge Medical Center.
