Scout’s Barbershop is a locally-owned, neighborhood salon for men and women of all ages. Bringing back the old-school, walk-in barbershop vibe, Scout’s was founded in 2013 becoming the FIRST unisex, walk-in barbershop in Nashville! Now, with locations in Wedgewood-Houston, East Nashville, Sylvan Park, the Gulch, Franklin, and Germantown, you don’t have to drive across town to get your haircut! At Scout’s, we believe you shouldn’t have to sacrifice quality for convenience. You deserve a great full-service experience, which starts when you walk in the door and meet one of our friendly receptionists who will happily pour you a complimentary craft beer from Little Harpeth Brewing or cold brew coffee from Honest Coffee Roasters! Next, you’ll love your time in the chair with one of our talented stylists. Scout’s is a place where everyone feels welcome and at home – from Northwesty mountain-scapes and taxidermy to vintage leather-tufted sofas, each of our shops is unique by embracing the story and character of the historical building it inhabits. Our clients are always meeting their neighbors, networking, and sharing ideas and stories. Scout’s offers you a fresh cut at an affordable price but most importantly a place where experience and community comes first! COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT HAIRCUTS FOR HUMANS At Scout’s, we believe when You Look Good, You Feel Good, and in turn, You Do Good! Haircuts for Humans, a charity project benefiting local education projects for children and teens living in poverty, has given hundreds of haircuts to those in need and simultaneously collected donations for these cuts that are donated straight to non-profit organizations like Martha O’Bryan Center and Backfield in Motion, to benefit the 30 percent of children and teens living in poverty in Nashville to aid the effort to end the cycle of poverty. Over the years, Dick has donated all profits from designated Republican Hair concerts. Scout’s has offered free cuts for Backfield in Motion & Martha O’Bryan students, and the Nashville homeless community, in addition to serving meals and actively taking patron donations in their shops. Since its creation in 2016, Haircuts for Humans has raised over $25,000 that has been given back the local Nashville community.
