A music and education center. A gathering place for student musicians and their families.  City Music features the largest instrument rental and repair department in the bi-state region. For music lessons all of our faculty and instructors are qualified, experienced professionals. Our facilities offer comfortable, clean studios with video cameras for parent observation in our multiple, spacious waiting areas. We carry ""school approved"" rentals including multiple sized orchestra instruments such as violins, violas, cellos, and bass. We also carry piccolos, flutes, clarinets, oboes, trumpets, trombones, French horns, double horns, baritones, alto saxophones, tenor saxophones, snare kits, bell kits, xylophones, marimbas, drum sets, and a variety of guitars. We have in-house repair professionals.  In our recording studio section we offer single and multi-song demos or full album recordings by soloists or ensembles in any style. Each project will have one of our professional engineers assigned to it. Engineers will deal with each project from start to finish, from instrument mixing and recording of performances to mixing, and mastering the final product. City Music's sheet music inventory is one of the most extensive in the St. Louis area.  Our music sections are well-marked and built for browsing. Sheet music categories include method and solo pieces for guitar and folk instruments, jazz, fake books, band and orchestra literature (including method books used by St. Louis area schools). Our piano music selections include popular, classical, duets, and a Federation section. We have adult and younger student piano method and technique books, a large selection of vocal method and solo books, sacred piano and vocal music, as well as the contemporary composer books and sheets popular with piano teachers. We also have seasonal music for Halloween, Christmas, and other holidays as well as a year-round supply of gifts and ornaments.
