I conduct a broad range of psychological services ranging from adolescents to adults and couples, with the goal of finding the therapeutic style and approach that best matches an individuals goals, resources, and personality style. My background includes 30 years as a psychotherapist, with 20 years at the Ph.D. level, and training as a mediator. I have enjoyed particular interests the following areas, most of which I have conducted trainings in and/or conducted clinical research and publications:

*life transitions (such as early adulthood, midlife, career change, and retirement)

For clients who do not have health insurance that covers therapy, or clients who prefer to maintain the complete privacy of their records, I offer a sliding scale rate as negotiated in our first meeting.

In addition to psychotherapy and clinical assessment, I offer equine assisted therapy in selected cases. This is a modality of therapy that builds skills and confidence in relating to and riding horses that has been found to be highly effective with children with ADHD and impulse control problems, as well as with depression and PTSD
