History

3 Rs is a private tutoring service begun in October 1985 when Tom and Luraly Graham decided to settle in Cleveland. Luraly has been tutoring reading, math and written language since 1968. The Grahams bought a home in January of 87 and converted their garage into tutoring rooms. All services were done from the home until August 1994, when the center was moved to downtown Cleveland in the historic Craigmiles building. In January 1997, the center was relocated to its present location on Mohawk Drive. In 1999, Luraly discontinued hiring teachers and returned to private tutoring.

The Grahams have a desire to serve the community and want to bring hope and a feeling of being loved to students who have become discouraged by learning problems. Students who need to be challenged and have enrichment experiences can find help also.
