Chattanooga's Premier Ballet Company and Conservatory
Based in Chattanooga since 1987, Ballet Tennessee embodies the spirit of community through dance by fufilling its mission with professional track, outreach and educational programs, plus well-crafted performances. With the belief that "Everyone benefits from ballet," all projects have strong elements of outreach to under-served audiences, youth-programming, and arts in education.
Ballet Tennessee is funded in part by Allied Arts of Greater Chattanooga, Tennessee Arts Commission, National Endowment for the Arts, corporate grants, and individual contributions.
Ballet Tennessee's Outreach Programs, Dance Alive & TIP, are made possible in part by: George R. Johnson Charitable Trust, Coca-Cola Bottling Company, First Tennessee Bank, Target Stores, Allied Arts of Greater Chattanooga and VanCura Ballet Conservatory.
