(Acts 2:46; Heb 10:24-25)
1 In John 17:3 Jesus informed his followers that eternal life equated to a relationship to God through Him. As such, Heritage exists to connect people to God in a gospel of repentance toward God and faith in Jesus Christ (Acts 20:21). Both repentance and faith are essential aspects of the gospel. We accomplish this connect aspect of our vision in corporate worship, preaching and community each Sunday.
2 Heritage also exists to help Christians Grow with others. We accomplish this by small groups called Community Groups on Sundays and Grow classes on Wednesday night. Because Heritage is a God-centered congregation, we use only the Bible for Community Groups each Sunday. Grow classes offer topical studies such as marriage and/or parenting classes, financial counseling, Divorce-Care, systematic theology, womens and mens issues, and many more.
(Matt 28:18-20; Acts 1:8; Rom 10:13-15a)
3 Impact is the natural response of connecting to God and growing with others. Heritage impacts our community, city, state, nation and world through mercy ministries and global mission endeavors. Each Community Group possesses its own impact ministry. In addition, our Children and Student ministries encourage family ministry locally, nationally and globally.
